Grazing of dairy cattle; LU class, region, 2010-2020

This table contains figures on the percentage of holdings offering dairy cows and/or the associated young cattle grazing. In addition, figures are given on the percentage of lactating dairy cows and the female young cattle offered grazing during the pasture season. If pasture is offered, it is indicated how it is distributed in dairy cows between the form on which it is offered (day and night/limited) and the number of hours of grazing per day. In the pasture of female young cattle, it is assumed that the animals are grazed day and night. The figures are broken down by company size classes based on the number of LU (large livestock units) and by province. Data available from: 10-10 to 2020.
