Gross fixed capital formation; volume figures per month

The results refer to the indices and year-on-year developments in the volume of gross fixed capital formation. The indices are based on 2015 = 100. Investment in property, plant and equipment includes expenditure by corporations, households, non-profit institutions and general government on produced tangible assets used in the production process for more than one year. Investments in intangible fixed assets (research and development, software, licences, etc.) are excluded. Data available from: January 2004. Status of the figures: The figures for 2019, 2020 and 2021 are provisional. The remaining figures are definitive. Amendments as of 22 October 2021: The figures for August 2021 have been added. The figures for April to July 2021 have been revised. The figures may be adjusted by the availability of new and updated source information. In addition, monthly figures are adjusted to the results of quarterly accounts and national accounts. Every five years a revision of the national accounts takes place. When will there be new figures? Approximately seven weeks after the reporting period.
