HBO cohorts; first HBO degree, course of study

This table contains figures for the first degree in higher vocational education (HBO) obtained from HBO cohorts 2008/“09, 2010/”11, 2012/“13, 2014/”15, 2016/“17 and 2018/”19. The grades represent the first university degree obtained at different levels, up to a maximum of nine years after students started in college. The data can be broken down by gender, starting year, pre-training and subject-matter diploma. Information about the educational position, i.e. the number of students who are still in higher education. Data available from: 2008/'09. Status of the figures: All the figures in this table are final. Changes as of 3 December 2021: The grouping of studies in subject areas has changed. An additional detail group ‘0719 Technique and technical services other’ has also been added. Due to these changes, all figures have been retroactively adjusted. When are new figures coming? Grades of higher education diplomas obtained from the HBO cohort 2012/“13 after eight years, of the hbo-cohort 2014/”15 after six years, of the hbo-cohort 2016/“17 after four years and of the HBO cohort 2018/”19 after two years appear in the third quarter of 2022.
