Health and Care, closed series; 1900-2004

This table lists a number of long-running health and care series, which are no longer supplemented. The closed series cover length and weight of conscripts, occupational accidents, absenteeism by sex in private companies, the number of reports of some infectious diseases (syphilis, gonorrhea and salmonella infections), cremations, place and care around birth, number of hospitals and their costs, and the costs and financing of health care. Data available from 1900 to 2004 Changes as of 10 July 2019: In the subject ‘Care around birth’, the figures appeared to have jumped for a year from 1921. This has now been restored. Changes as of 8 July 2009: This table contains figures from the table ‘Health, lifestyle, use and supply of care, causes of death; since 1900's have been removed and are no longer updated. Status of the figures: These are definitive figures. When are new figures coming? This table has been discontinued.
