This file contains data on the exposure to noise from air traffic at the airports in North Brabant and its translation into health risks, so-called GES scores. Calculated sound contours Lden and Ke zones have been translated into GES scores in accordance with the Handbook on Health Effect Screening City & Environment 2012. From military airports Eindhoven, Gilze-rijen, Volkel and Woensdrecht, the licensed 35 Ke and 45 Ke contours have been translated into GES 6 (insufficient) and GES 7 (very insufficient). Of the small civilian airports Budel and Seppe, the Lden contours from the airport decisions are translated into GES scores as follows: 48-56 dB = GES 4 (moderate); 56-70 dB = GES 6 (insufficient); > 70 dB = GES 7 (very inadequate).
The noise charge is calculated for individual airports. The combined noise load with other noise sources (road traffic, rail traffic and industry) is not determined. In reality, when combined with multiple sound sources, the noise load and therefore the health effect can therefore be higher.
