Higher education; international students, educational features

This table shows the number of students enrolled at the government-funded higher education institutions by international student, gender, year of residence, type of education, discipline, training phase and year of study. From the 2015/16 academic year onwards, this table also includes the number of students enrolled in some designated institutions: the theological universities and the University of Humanistics. As of academic year 2016/'17, the Transnational University of Limburg has also been included. Data available from: academic year 2005/06. Status of the figures: The figures for study years up to 2019/'20 are final and the figures for the study years 2020/'21 and 2021/'22 are provisional. Amendments as of 18 March 2022: This is a new table. When are the new figures coming? The final figures for the 2020/'21 academic year will be available in the second quarter of 2022.
