Historical Soil Stock of Soil Locations

Historical Soil Files (an inventory of, among other things, old Hinderwet- and Environmental Permits). Possible sources of soil contamination. These locations stem from a national inventory of (business) activities that could have caused a load on the soil in the past. In many cases there will be no soil contamination at these sites. In certain cases, if the nature of the (business) activities of the past gives a significant suspicion that soil contamination has occurred, soil research will have to take place in the future. According to recent assumptions, of the total 600,000 listed sites in 2.5 % of the cases, soil pollution will have to be addressed in the coming years. The map is based on data collected by municipalities and provinces in the period up to 2005. The map indicates the locations that may have been contaminated.
