An ecotope card has been made of the Wadden Sea with as a karteerkaar 2017. This salty ecotope map is constructed by merging several layers of information from the intertidal area: soil height map (height and depth), geomorphological map, dry fall duration map, flow rate map (v-max), wave map (UBOT) and salt map. This hydrodynamic map is based on maximum flow rates and wave data (UBOT). It is a combination of the grids v-max and UBOT. This was necessary because the collapse model in addition to v-max could not process UBOT information. In order to be able to process wave information in the ecotope card, the rasters v-max and UBOT have been merged, replacing all v-max values with less than 80 cm/s AND UBOT greater than 25 cm/s by 100. For example, the hydrodynamic map with values greater than 80 indicates where the v-max is greater than 80 cm/s and UBOT greater than 25 cm/s.
