Dataset description

This table contains data on the use of information and communication technology (ICT) by companies. This concerns: — the use of computers; — ICT systems for office administration; — internal and external networks, including the Internet; — software and application thereof; — Supply chain management (chain integration); — Automated Data Exchange (Automated Data Exchange); — communication with governments via the internet; — the extent to which companies use the internet for buying and selling. The data refers to companies with 10 and more persons employed in the financial sector. The reference date is 31 December. The data is broken down by business department (based on the Standard Business Classification (SBI'93)): Other money-creating institutions (SBI‘93, code 6512) and Other lending (SBI’93, code 6522), life insurance, in-kind insurance and savings (SBI‘93, code 6601), non-life insurance (SBI’93, code 6603), industry Activities for or related to financial institutions (SBI‘93, code 671) excluding the Options and Stock Exchanges (SBI’93, code 6711), excluding insurance exchanges (SBI‘93, code 67201) and excluding the Guarantee Funds (SBI’93, code 67204). Data available for the year 2006. Status of the figures: The figures in this table are final. Changes as of 8 March 2019: None, table has been discontinued. When are new figures coming? No longer applicable.
