This table provides information on the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) by financial sector companies.
These include the use of computers, ICT systems for office administration and internal and external networks, including the Internet. Furthermore, the table provides figures on the extent to which companies secure the ICT applications and the extent to which they use the internet for buying and selling (e-business, e-commerce). The data were obtained from companies with 10 or more persons employed in the financial sector (financial institutions, insurance and pension funds; financial exchanges, stock brokers, insurance intermediaries and administrative offices for shares and guarantee funds).
For non-financial sector companies, separate tables are available, see under 3. Links to relevant articles and tables.
