File gives a forecast of the air quality for ultra particulate matter (PM2.5) around national, provincial and municipal roads in Gelderland in the year 2030. The data is calculated nationwide using the Monitoring Tool. Per road section, the prognosis for the PM2.5 concentration is indicated at 10 metres from the edge of the road. Air quality is shown in five concentration classes, for the annual mean PM2.5 concentration a limit of 25 µg/m³ applies from 2015. In addition, an ‘indicative limit value’ exists for 2020 for the annual average of 20 µg/m³. The World Health Organisation (WHO) recommends 10 µg/m³ as a standard according to the latest scientific insights. Air quality is calculated, among other things, on the basis of forecasting traffic intensities and using calculation models based on the year 2017. The sources, such as industry and agriculture, have been incorporated into the background concentration. The total concentration also includes the direct contribution from road traffic. The values calculated with the model have an inaccuracy of 20-25 percent.
