This table shows the total amount of own contributions imposed by the CAK on clients for receiving long-term care in kind at the expense of the General Act on Special Medical Expenses (AWBZ). The following reductions have been deducted from the contributions imposed:
1) Rebate on the basis of the Chronic and Disabled Allowance Act (Wtcg);
2) the so-called billing stop;
3) the discount for clients with incomes around or below the social minimum;
4) the debit of own contributions that are no longer recoverable from the clients.
The contributions imposed also include the own contributions for previous years which are offset against the own contributions of the reporting period. The figures on the own contributions are broken down by care without residence and care with stay.
Data available from 2009 to 2014.
