This table provides information on the amount of waste released from the mineral extraction industries, industry, energy supply, water extraction companies and waste management. Wastes are broken down by industry by type of waste and the method of treatment. Commercial wastes are classified by waste types. Waste types are classified according to Eural codes that are aligned with the European Waste Statistics Regulation. The Eural codes are codes for waste as listed in the European Waste List.
This table further distinguishes between chemical and non-chemical waste. The non-chemical wastes are further disaggregated. The released commercial waste shall be recovered or offered for final processing.
