Innovation in companies; industries

This table shows data on innovation at Dutch companies. These data are the results of a biennial innovation survey. One survey covers three years, for example 2010 to 2012 (this is the reporting period). The last year in a survey is the same as the first year in the next survey. This means that the periods partly overlap. The Innovation Survey is conducted among a sample of companies with 10 and more employed persons. The results are broken down by company size and industry. Data available from 2010-2012. Status of the figures: Figures up to and including the 2012-2014 Innovation Survey are final and the figures on the 2014-2016 Innovation Survey are further provisional. Changes as of 7 February 2020: Added the further preliminary figures on the 2014-2016 Innovation Survey. When are new figures coming? The results of the 2016-2018 Innovation Survey will be published in mid-2020.
