International trade; export starter, business characteristics

This table contains figures on the number of companies exporting goods or services in a given year and in the previous two years (export start-ups). These are companies that are active in the Business Economy and belong to SMEs (up to 250 persons employed). The data can be broken down by some size groups, the independence of the company and the countries with which export start-ups have traded. There is only one country breakdown available for countries within the EU. This table has been developed for the State of SMEs programme. Data available from: 2015. Status of the figures: The figures in the table up to 2018 are final, those for 2019 and later are provisional. Changes from 01-12-2021: This is a new table. When are new figures coming? New figures are expected by mid-2022.
