Dataset description

This table gives an overview of gross fixed capital formations (according to the ownership criterion) in the different regions. The investments can be broken down by the different sectors and types of assets in which investments have been made. The regional division can be chosen from the different parts of the country (North, East, West and Southern Netherlands), provinces and (disaggregated) COROP regions. The figures come from the regional accounts, the quantitative description of the economic process of the different regions within a country. Regional investment figures are in line with the national accounts totals. It concerns investments in fixed assets from production and imports, i.e. excluding sales of fixed assets from production and imports. fixed assets used. In line with national accounts, they provide a coordinated description of the regional economy and are ideally suited for comparing the results of the various regions. This table contains only figures in current prices. The data in this table are classified by region and according to the Standard Business Classification (SBI 2008). Data available from 2008 to 2011. Status of the figures: The data is final. The data for the year 2011 are provisional. As this table has been discontinued, the data will no longer be definitive.
