This table contains key figures on the settlement of cases in civil law, administrative law and criminal law.
The rulings in civil law are divided into summons proceedings and petition proceedings settled by the courts (canton and civil sector sector), courts and Supreme Courts.
Administrative law rulings are broken down by courts, administrative law sector, Central Council of Appeals, Council of State Administrative Jurisdiction Division, Courts (tax Chamber), Supreme Court (tax chamber) and the College of Appeals for Business.
Criminal law regulates how to deal with acts that are punishable. There is a distinction between canton criminal cases (infringements) and court criminal cases (crimes). The decisions are published by the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the decisions by the court and the orders of the Central Judicial Collection Bureau on the basis of the Law on Administrative Law Enforcement of Traffic Regulations (Wet Mulder, minor traffic offences).
