This table has been developed in the context of the State of SMEs.
Data available from: 2011.
Status of the figures:
The figures for the last five years are provisional. Other figures are final. For international trade in goods, the figures for 2015 are not exactly comparable to those for 2014, because in 2015 a simplified business statement and a new re-export definition will enter and several quality improvements have also been made. Total exports of goods would have been more than EUR 16 billion lower in 2014 with method breaks. Total imports of goods amount to EUR 9 billion less.
Changes as of 10 November 2021:
Figures for 2020 and number of companies from 2021 have been added.
Minor change in dates from 2014 and 2015 due to rounding of figures. These are “Exportors in reporting year” (2014) and “Exporters with Growth” (2015).
When are new figures coming?
Figures for 2021 and number of companies from 2022 will be published in October 2022.
