This table contains figures on: The size of the population Three age groups 0 to 20 years, 20 to 65 years and 65 year and older Demographic pressures The number of live births The total fertility rate The number of deceased Life expectancy at birth of men and women Immigration, emigration and the migration balance Data available from: 2008 Frequency: cessation as of 17 December 2010 Status of the figures All figures included in the table are calculated prognosis figures. Changes as of 9 October 2009 The table is supplemented by the forecast intervals. Changes as of 18 December 2008 The forecast has been revised based on the latest insights, the forecast period now runs from 2008 to 2050. Due to longer run-through of 2008 and temporary reduced capacity will be the figures of forecast intervals in this table, not as previously reported here in the 1st half of 2009 however, in the course of the 2nd half of 2009 will be supplemented. When are new figures coming? The new population forecast comes out in December 2010.
