Dataset description
This table contains figures observations and projections of the population of the Netherlands on 1 January by age (three groups) and population development: the number of children born alive, the number of deceased, foreign migration and population growth. In addition, the table contains demographic pressures, the total fertility rate per woman and the life expectancy at birth by gender.
Data available: 1950-2070
Status of the figures:
The figures in this table are calculated forecast figures and observations.
Changes as of 16 December 2021:
The table is extended by the 2021-2070 forecast.
When are new figures coming?
In December 2022, the new forecast figures will be published in this table.
