This table provides figures on the employment history of the Dutch population (aged 15 or over) over the past 4 years which have been included in the population register of a Dutch municipality on 31 December of the reporting year. The figures for the past four years have been broken down by continuous employment, partially employed and inactive and are based on a continuous period of work of 4 years. Labour history data are further disaggregated by gender, age, migrant background and region. The regional data are based on the regional breakdown of 1 January 2020.
Persons working in international organisations are considered to be working in the current table. This applies from the 2011 base year.
