Land, road and hydraulic engineering (GWW); input price index 2008-2019

This table provides insight into the input price index (2010 = 100) of the cost of wages, materials and equipment for Land, Road and Water projects (GWW). Eight sub-areas are distinguished within the GWW. These areas are derived from the standard Clasification Products to Activity. For each subarea, an index series is determined on the basis of the price developments of the different cost components from which the product to be realised — in this case a project in the GWW — is built up. The total GWW price index is a weighted average of the eight sub-areas. The published price indices of the GWW are based on the average price level of the month in question. In the composition of this index, the changes in general costs and ‘profit & risk’ are not taken into account. Also, changes in excise duties (e.g. those of the ‘red’ diesel as of 1-1-2013) are not reflected in the price indices. In addition to the price indices, developments compared to 1 year earlier are also published. Data available: Data available from January 2008 to October 2019. Status of the figures: The price indices from October 2018 are provisional. As this table has been discontinued, the data will no longer be definitive.
