Dataset description
Version of landscape types adopted by Provincial Staten van Drenthe on 2 July 2014. The different Drenthe landscape types and the diversity in landscape types are of provincial importance. The province of Drenthe focuses on preserving and strengthening the landscape as economic, ecological and cultural capital. This includes esvillain landscape, esge hamlets landscape, road village landscape of low peat extraction, road village landscape of the edge peat extraction, landscape of peat colonies, landscape of the colonies of Benevolence (UNESCO). Appears in Map 2B: Core Quality Landscape.
