Level of education pairs; partners aged 25 years or older, 1992-2012

This table contains figures on the highest educational attainment of married or unmarried cohabiting partners. The partners are of different sex and are 25 years or older. This age limit has been chosen because the school career is usually completed and the highest level of education has been reached. This table shows the proportion of couples in which the male is more educated, the woman is more educated or the partners have an equal level of education. It also presents educational combinations where the level of education of both partners consists of: — 3 levels: Low, Medium, High — 6 levels: Primary education, Vmbo, Havo or Vwo, Mbo, Hbo, Wo Changes as of 4 April 2017 None, this table has been discontinued.
