Dataset description

The LGN6 monitoring file is a country-covered grid file with a resolution of 25 meters. The LGN6 classes are aggregated into 8 monitoring classes. The file offers the possibility to monitor land use changes from 2003 to 2008. As a result of changes in the methodology in the manufacture of LGN6, the monitoring classes of LGN5 and LGN6 may have remained the same while there has been a land use change in that period.
