Dataset description

This table provides data on international maritime freight transport. The gross weight discarded figures are available for the main Dutch seaports and are broken down by transport flow and by type of cargo. The processing methodology of maritime statistics has been substantially amended with effect from 2011. Data available from: 2011 Status of the figures: Maritime transport figures are available on a quarterly and annual basis. The figures are currently provisional. Changes as of 24 February 2022: The figures for Q3 2021 have been added. The figures for the separate seaports of Dordrecht, Vlaardingen and Moerdijk are no longer published due to low reliability. These figures are now included at Havengebied Rotterdam. When will there be new figures? The figures for Q4 2021 will be published in Q2 2022.
