Marriage and marriage dissolution; gender, age (31 December), region

This table contains information on marriage, divorce and widowing among the population of the Netherlands by region. The figures are excluding (unbonded) partnership registrations. In this table, the data can be divided into the following characteristics: — Marriages to the municipality of the partners and region; — Marrying persons by gender, age and region; — Married persons by sex, marital status before marriage and region; — From genuinely divorced persons by gender, age and region; — Widowing persons by gender, age and region; The regions listed in the table are territories, provinces, COROP areas and municipalities. The regional totals presented concern aggregations of municipalities. In case of border changes that cross different regional borders, the division of the municipalities is grouped according to the most recent situation. For example: for the municipality of Woerden, which has moved from the province of Zuid-Holland to the province of Utrecht as of 01-01-1989, it is grouped in the table in the province of Utrecht.
