Dataset description

This file contains military low flight routes as established in the Environment Vision province of Groningen 2016-2020. Above Westerwolde and the far west of our province are military low flight routes for fighters and transport aircraft. There is a minimum flight height of 75 metres. For safety reasons, such low flight routes shall not exceed 40 metres. It is a strip of 1 nautical mile (1852 meters) on both sides of the midline of the route. Municipalities must take this into account when drawing up zoning plans.
