This table contains indicators on mortality, based on the number of deaths by cause of death for the period 1996-2020, per year. The indicators are mortality per 10,000 (non-standardised, directly standardised and indirectly standardised), the CMF and SMR indices of direct and indirect standardised mortality, respectively, and the years of life lost (YPLL) per 10,000. For all years, the regional classification of 2020 has been used. The figures in this table are based on the Death Causes Statistics of the Central Statistical Office (CBS).
