Motor vehicles; demolition, export and other outages, regions, 2000-2021

This table lists Dutch passenger cars and commercial motor vehicles (vans, lorries, semi-trailer tractors, special vehicles and buses) that failed during the reporting year because the registration/registration certificate was declared invalid for demolition, export, or because the vehicles were placed outside the normal registration. The vehicles belonging to the failure are divided by number and weight by country and province. Vehicles belonging to the failure on 1 January of a given year (e.g. on 1 January 2009) were demolished, exported or placed outside normal registration in the previous year. These vehicles may have participated in traffic for part of the previous year (e.g. in 2008). The data is based on information from RDW’s vehicle registration register.
