Motor vehicles; demolition, vehicle type, fuel type, 2000-2021

This table lists Dutch passenger cars and commercial motor vehicles (vans, lorries, semi-trailer tractors, special vehicles and buses) that have failed during the reporting year because the registration/registration certificate has been declared invalid due to demolition. The vehicles belonging to the demolition are divided by type of fuel of the vehicle. Vehicles belonging to demolition on 1 January of a given year (e.g. on 1 January 2009) have been demolished/disassembled in the previous year. These vehicles may have participated in traffic for part of that previous year (e.g. in 2008). The data is based on information from RDW’s vehicle registration register.
