Dataset description

This concerns a file recording of the area of mussel and oyster banks on the drying plates in the Wadden Sea. This file recording is carried out once a year in the spring by Wageningen Marine Research (formerly IMARES) as part of the policy monitoring. The client is the Executive Board of Agro and Nature/Animal Agro Chains and Food Quality. The contours of the mussel and oyster banks are not definitive. The contours were either newly signed by fieldwork or taken over from previous years. Contours can be adjusted to two years after recording.
