National Landscape South Limburg

The National Landscape is located within the (Euregional) metropolis Liège-Eupen-Aachen-Parkstad-Sittard-Genk-Hasselt-Maastricht as part of the cross-border three-country park. It is a run-out area of cities whose quality of life is important for the South Limburg living and business climate. The area has a high density of cultural historical heritage including many monuments. The unique landscape contributes significantly to the business climate and the quality of living and living of the region. The policy within the National Landscape aims to strengthen the city-country relations and to preserve, manage, develop and experience the landscape core qualities within the so-called protection area and to work from 10 core values from POL2014.
