This table shows the number of addresses of companies and institutions with at least one electricity and/or natural gas connection to the public network in the Netherlands. The total supply of natural gas/electricity to these addresses is also included. The data is broken down by industry and consumption class.
Addresses of homes as registered in the Basic Registration Addresses and Buildings (BAG) are hereby excluded. Also, non-building-bound electricity connections are not included. This includes public lighting, telecom masts and antennas, public electric charging stations, (seel) pumps and ground, mineral extraction plants, etc. Natural gas connections have always been adopted as a building.
The numbers are broken down into consumption class based on electricity supplied in kWh and/or natural gas in m³ of natural gas equivalents. The breakdown by consumption class is based on the total electricity and/or natural gas supplied by address.
