Dataset description

The NNN (formerly EHS) is a coherent system of nature reserves of international or national interest aimed at safeguarding ecosystems with associated species. The provincial NNN is geometrically bounded in Fryslân at plot level. This is in line with the original limit in the Streekplan (2007), but with an update based on the new agreements relating to nature and the ecological main structure made with the empire. The legend units ‘NNN water’, ‘NNN management area’ and ‘NNN other nature’ are part of the NNN. ‘Nature Outside NNN’ is not part of the NNN.
