Dataset description

The NNN (formerly EHS) is a network of areas in the Netherlands where nature takes precedence. The network helps prevent plants and animals from extinction in isolated areas and that nature reserves lose their value. The NNN can be seen as the backbone of Dutch nature. This file contains information in accordance with the INSPIRE data specifications for protected areas. For more detailed information, please refer to the source file of the province concerned. More detailed information for the protected areas in the individual provinces can be found in the description of the provincial stocks on this subject.
