The input price index of new-build homes follows price developments
of the cost components of wages and equipment for the new construction of a
it’s home. The series reflects the evolution of wages in the
construction and a package of building materials such as that in the
housing (new) construction is used.
In the composition of the index, changes in the prices of
equipment (tools and machinery), overheads and profit & risk
out of consideration.

Preliminary indices may be due to new and/or
updated source material has been changed.
When are new figures coming?
The series of new-build homes, input index 2000=100 has stopped as of 2-2-2009.
March 2009 will be published on the basis of 2005=100. This one
will be calculated from January 2005. Then the provisional
figures from January 2009 are published.
