Newly built dwellings; output price index construction costs, 2015=100

The output price index of new housing, 2015=100 shows the evolution of the construction costs of new dwellings. This series is based on all categories of new homes. The construction costs referred to include the contractor’s overheads and ‘profit and risk’, but exclude the land and costs of the developer or broker. The basic material for this statistics is derived from data reported by municipalities to the CBS and derived from building permits for new dwellings issued by them. Data available from: 1st quarter 2012 Status of the figures: The figures remain for four quarters for the time being. They will then be definitively adopted. Changes as of 30 March 2022: The figures for Q4 2020 and the year 2020 have been definitively established. In addition, the figures for Q4 2021 and 2021 have been added. When will there be new figures? New figures for Q1 2022 will be published at the end of June 2022.
