Dataset description

Under the EU Environmental Noise Directive, the noise pollution caused by traffic on the provincial roads in Gelderland has been passed on. This has been done according to the prescribed method SKM2 in the Geoenvironment programme. In addition to the daytime value (Lden), the night noise is also calculated (Lnight). This map shows the contours of Lnight. The card is classified from 50 dB increased per class by 5 dB. These are real noise taxes, no deduction has been made (Article 110 g of the Noise Law Act). This file shows the situation of 2016.
