Noise tax national roads in the Netherlands 2021 (24-hour average)

Display by means of noise contours of the Lden noise load (24-hour average) in 2021 of the roads under management at Rijkswaterstaat on 31-12-2021. Displays only the current situation in 2021 without future forecasts calculated using the Road Noise Model Silence 3. These noise contours have been drawn up within the framework of the EU Environmental Noise Directive. On 3 July 2022 the sound contours were established by the Minister of IenM. By law, these noise tax cards must be developed once every five years.
