The table shows the number of benefits in the context of a
number of laws on disability. It is about the law on the
disability insurance (WAO), the Incapacity for Work Act—
provision for young people with disabilities (Wajong) and the Incapacity for Work Act—
self-employed (WAZ) insurance.
From 1 January 2004, workers who are ill on or after that date may
no more claim to a WAO benefit. These employees
after the employer has paid the salary for two years,
apply for a benefit under the Work Act as of 1 January 2006
and income by labour capacity (WIA). For the people, who are already
