Operational car lease; price index 2015=100

This table shows the quarterly price development of car leasing companies, i.e. operational leasing of passenger cars, vans and private cars (private leases). Price developments shall be determined on the basis of model prices. For the model prices, the monthly amounts due per quarter are requested for the leasing of various types of cars under a new contract. There is a distinction between prices including and excluding fuel advances. Costs of financing, maintenance, insurance, road taxes, and — in case of maintenance or repair — costs of a replacement vehicle are included. The moment of observation is the middle month of a quarter. It concerns so-called concluded contracts whose lease price is fixed in advance. The price indices in this table all have the index reference year 2015. The annual average, quarterly and annual change have been calculated on the basis of unrounded indices. Data available from: Third quarter 2001. Status of the figures: The figures for the most recent quarter are provisional. These figures will be definitive upon publication of the next quarter. Amendments as of 14 October 2022: The figures for the 3 rd quarter of 2022 have been added. Figures from the previous quarter may have been adjusted. When are new figures coming? New figures will be available about half a month after the end of the quarter.
