This table contains data on the production of organically certified farms in a (harvest) year. Only companies with at least EUR 3 000 SO (Standard Revenue) are included in the census. For all agricultural products, the quantity and unit are presented. Production has been calculated on the basis of information on organic farms from the Agricultural Census and information on slaughter weights and harvest estimates arable, open land vegetables and apples and pears. The dairy data are obtained through the Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland (RVO.nl). The data on mussels are obtained through PO mussel culture. The agricultural census is part of the combined task, which is used, inter alia, for the implementation of the agricultural policy and enforcement of the Fertilisers Act. The CBS harvest estimates are based on surveys carried out on farms from a sample. The 2021 cheese production is lower than previous years. This year, for the first time, the production of milk products was requested from the producers. Production was previously estimated. This other method has shown that cheese production is lower than expected. Production figures from previous years will be adjusted.
