During the delivery of Ecotopenmap, vegetation mapping and/or Geomorphological maps, orthophoto mosaics are increasingly supplied as standard. Orthophoto mosaics are images, composed of individual geometrically corrected aerial photographs, referred to as orthophotographs. These aerial photographs have been used as a basis for the collection of data on these products. An orthophoto is an aerial photograph, corrected for the position of the aircraft during the shooting and altitude differences in the terrain. To correct these height differences, a height model is needed. By default, the Current Height File Netherlands (AHN) is used for the manufacture of orthophoto mosaics. Resolution is 25 cm. In the case of the Meuse, the aerial photographs used for the collection of the Ecotopenmap of the Meuse have been used. The GSD of these pictures is 0.12 m. Mosaics are also available from parts of Ameland, the Scheldt and the salt marshes. The formats that are delivered are ECW.
