In the case of accidents dangerous substances are a major accident at a company site. A substance is a hazardous substance when it is toxic, flammable or explosive, or has a combination of these properties. Companies that work with hazardous substances are on the risk card. The category includes companies that have not been designated as a separate category. Companies can also be included in the category “Other” if there is a chance that in the event of an accident injuries and/or deaths will fall outside the terrain border. The person responsible for the environmental permit (usually the municipality) must indicate for which situations this applies.
