The table provides insight into the amounts of benefit under the
Law on disability insurance (WAO), the Employment Act—
incapacity for young people with disabilities (Wajong) and Employment Act
self-employed incapacity insurance (WAZ), which in the reporting period
have been provided.
From 1 January 2004, workers who fall ill on or after that date may,
no longer claiming a WAO benefit. These workers can,
after the employer has paid the salary for two years, as of 1 January 2006
apply for a benefit under the Work and Income Act to
working capacity (WIA). For those who already have a benefit,
