Persons in possession of mopeds; personal characteristics, 2010-2015

This table contains information on persons aged 16 and over who are in possession of mopeds, mopeds and mopeds, according to the stand on 1 January of the year. The data on the number of vehicles is based on information from the RDW vehicle registration register. A person may be in possession of several types of vehicles (moped, moped and moped). In that case, this person shall be counted as owner of each of these types of vehicles. The table excludes all owners of other motor vehicles with a valid moped registration, such as moped quads, cargo mopeds and 3-wheel mopeds. In addition to the absolute number of owners, the number of owners is also presented as a percentage of the total number of persons aged 16 and over. The percentage is calculated within the group of people with the same background characteristics. For example: in 2010, 3.5 percent of all men aged 16 to 25 were in possession of at least one moustache. For women aged 16 to 25, this was 1.9 percent. (Persons in institutional households are not included in this table, individuals with sole proprietorships do.)
