Persons moved; gender, age and region per month

This table contains monthly and annual figures for persons moving within the Netherlands. Persons moved within municipalities and persons moved between municipalities are distinguished. Data can be broken down by gender, age (on 31 December) and region. The regions listed in the table are parts of the country, provinces, COROP areas and municipalities. The regional totals presented concern counts of municipalities. In the case of border changes crossing different regional borders, the classification of municipalities is grouped according to the most recent situation. Data available from: January 2010. Status of the figures: The figures from 2010 to 2020 are final. The figures from January 2021 onwards are provisional. Amendments as of 28 October 2021: The provisional figures for September 2021 have been added. When will there be new figures? Provisional figures for the previous month shall be published at the end of each month. Intermediate adjustments from previous months are possible. In the third quarter of each year, the provisional figures for the previous year are replaced by definitive figures.
