Population forecast The Hague 2012-2020

For many municipal policy areas, it is crucial to have an insight into the future size and composition of the population. Many companies and private institutions in the city also need this insight as a basis for their investment and — strategic — choices. For some purposes, a population forecast at municipal or district level is sufficient. For other purposes it is necessary to descend to district and neighborhood level. This report presents the results of the forecast until 2020 for the city of The Hague and for the eight districts. In addition, the perceived level provides a projection of the population by number and types of households and by ethnic groups.
