Population with migration background by length of stay in the Netherlands,1 January

This table contains data on the population of the Netherlands by gender, age, migration background and length of residence in the Netherlands, 1 January. Data available from: 2003 Status of the figures: All figures in the table are final. Changes as of 11 January 2019: The figures from 1 January 2017 and 1 January 2018 have been added. Changes as of 14 February 2018: The terms autochtoon and immigrant have been revised. Instead, CBS is now talking about people with a Dutch background or a migration background. Therefore, the names have been adapted in this table. The underlying encodings of the classifications used in this table have been adjusted. These are now in line with the standard coding established by CBS. The structure and data of the table have been adjusted. The divisions of the “Age” dimension and the “duration” dimension have been simplified, the five-year groups from the “duration” dimension have been removed. This makes the table better suited to the interface of the new StatLine. When are new figures coming? In the second quarter of 2021, figures from 1 January 2019 and 1 January 2020 will be included in this table.
